Ah, the glories of the Internet and digital video. The gods of celebrity sex tapes are, of course, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. They truly set the standard. Then came Paris Hilton, famous for, well, being famous, she was criticized for never having actually done anything. “One Night in Paris” put an end to that criticism and did that saucy burger commercial. 

Still, we’ve missed out on a good celebrity sex tape for some time. Who will carry the banner forward? Rumors of a Janet Jackson tape abound, but there are three other celebrities on the horizon.

Britney Spears

Now that she is married, the publicity hound has shown a new side. First she was seen begging her husband, Kevin Federline, for sex on their oh so awful reality show. Now she and dancer boy are worried about one of their tapes being released. Rumor has it that a former entourage member is trying to cash in on a tape made during her pregnancy. Since the hormones flow during pregnancy, one can imagine it must be very saucy. During the time in question, the Brit even said she was having “like, the best sex evvver.”

Colin Farrell

Oh, now he gets shy? After living a very public life as the resident movie stud, good ole’ Colin keeps fighting the release of his sex tape with Nicole Narain. Say it ain’t so Colin!

Carolyn Murphy

You’ve seen her scantily clad on numerous magazine covers. Rumor has it, you’ll soon be able to see her in other poses. Yep, Carolyn made a honeymoon video in which she and her surfer hubby apparently exercised some interesting poses. Alas, marital bliss spawned a child, but didn’t last. El Divorco!

The couple is apparently fighting over custody of their daughter. Hmmm…anyone think the tape might be a…nah, it couldn’t be that. Could it?

Well, the celebrities have been fairly boring lately. Still, the turn of the year could be very exciting.
