Craigslist – Criticized for Sex Ads

Craigslist is a very basic site with little oversight. As a result, you can post pretty much whatever you like. Some people are taking advantage of this with sex ads.

As you know, Craigslist is the rather large directory of services. The site is divided by geographic locations, including particular cities. Over 10 million people use it each month. Put another way, we are talking big, big, big.

Craigslist lets you put up sexual based ads. The site is getting criticism for failing to check such ads for age and so on. Runaway kids off phone sex services on it and so on.

The criticism is ludicrous if you think about the situation. Craigslist gets 6.5 MILLION ad listings a month. How in the hell is the company supposed to go through all of those ads? I mean, coooommmme on.

The real problem is abused kids. Once again, society doesn’t deal with this problem. Instead, they just want to hide it again by taking sexual ads off of Craigslist. What a bunch of bozos.
