House, M.D – Simple The Best Television Show GoingLord knows I’m not opinionated, but I have to get something off my chest. House, M.D. is simply the best television show ever and you better damn well be watching. House, M.D. Set at the Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, Gregory House is an M.D. with the worth bedside manner imaginable and mouth that would make Larry Flynt blush. The crux, of course, is he is brilliant. Hugh Laurie plays Gregory House perfectly. The good doctor has a bum leg because of a vascular condition and is hopped up on Vicodin all the time. Bitter about his life, he runs roughshod over everyone he meets. His cynicism and obnoxious behavior will leave you laughing your ass off. It is basically what you expect doctors to really act like when you aren’t around. Taking a weekly beating are his three interns. Omar Epps plays the Dr. Foreman who has a penchant for sleeping with drug reps and throwing around the race card. Jennifer Morrison plays Allison Cameron, the annoyingly innocent woman who thinks she can save everyone with her moralistic ways, only to crystal meth and sleep with Chase. The aforementioned Chase is played by Jesse Spencer, and is known for having sold out House to hospital reps. Throw in a hospital administrator with great fun bags and a cancer specialist who sleeps around and you have the show of the millennium. And we’re only into the fifth year of the millennium! Great episodes include: Mob Rules – House has to save a mobster’s life. The mobster’s runt brother plays like Al Pacino in Godfather and hovers over the case. Of course, the mobster turns out to be gay, but House gets to drive a hot red corvair convertible for most of the show. Three Stories – The best episode. The show starts with House lecturing medical students on hypothetical situations. Eventually, you realize he is talking about his own medical condition and his ex-girlfriend’s decision to authorize surgery on him while he is passed out. She does this against his wish and knowing full well it will cripple him, but does so believing she is saving his life. Any of the House episodes is worth watching a few times. It is on Tuesday nights at 9 on Fox. You won’t be disappointed. << Phone Sex Numbers
